| Fishing Tournament / League Info

Information needed to run a Minnesota Fishing Tournament or Minnesota Fishing League:
If you are looking to start your own Minnesota Fishing League you can copy and use the rules, scoring systems, etc. found on this site. We also will help set you up as a chapter of the Minnesota Multispecies Tournament Series if you like. Note that as a licensed non-profit has some advantages that all fishing leagues should take into account as well.

If you are starting a fishing league in Minnesota or any other state, make sure the league and tournament rules fit your state's fishing regulations, limits, slot sizes, etc.
We have a list of State DNR web sites where you can find their fishing regulations, fishing tournament regulations, fishing tournament permit requirements, etc.
All our sizes, limits, etc. are within the Minnesota Fishing regulations and our number one league rule is that the Minnesota DNR fishing regulations always supercede ours and apply first. If your fishing league covers all the needed angles, all that is left at tournament time is to fish. Keep it fun and keep it safe.
