Fishing League home page for FREE

If you are starting your own fishing league or club, and want a home page online for FREE, then contact:

Doug Pirila, doug@uacbass.com, phone (218) 390-9973.
Al Ansell,
al@ultimateanglerchallenge.com, phone (218) 390-5676.

We add a couple pages here and give you a public and members-only forums.  If you have a domain name, we help you connect it to your pages and you have a website that can be found for free.

If you prefer a full website of your own, Fishing Webmaster will sponsor your fishing league and get you setup with a site, like www.UACBASS.com  for the low price of $200/yr.  That covers the out of pocket costs and all the disk space and bandwidth you like.  Fishing Webmaster is sure that after you see how easy you make the changes to your pages you will pass that on to anyone looking for a website for business or personal use.

Everyone is invited to join us at our End of Year Party on Saturday, Sept. 22nd.  Please plan on making it.  It's a Potluck, so plan on bringing something to share and a beverage of your choice.

We'll be giving out all our awards for the Multispecies Fishing League, Duluth Area Bass League and Cloquet Area Fishing League.   So it will be a great time to share fishing stories and eat lots of great food.

It is going to be held at Mark Jukich's home in Hermantown.  Jukich's have always been great hosts and have a great location they share with us.  Directions are posted in the forums.

Please invite anyone you want, especially anyone interested in fishing.  AND yes, most definitely include your significant others and spouses.   They'll meet all the guys you fish with.  Maybe it'll help explain the fishing craziness, maybe NOT...

See ya there,
Doug Pirila, MMTS President, DABL member and angler

Congratulations to Ouitdee Carson and Jeff Juntti, as the Ultimate Angler Challenge winners for Big Sandy Lake, McGregor.  For their catch of 4 crappies (all bonus), 3 perch, 1 bluegill and 1 rock bass, they earned $1,000 and plaques.  Not bad for 4 hours of fishing for a total points of 105 points.

Second place was taken by John Michalski and Ed Forrestal, with a limit of bluegills, 3 perch, a rock bass and one 14 inch crappie.  They had 100 points.  Third place went to the Ultimate Angler Challenge "Team of the Year", Pat Day and Ross Korpela with 85 points.

Thanks to all our teams for fishing and trying out multispecies fishing tournaments.  We hope to get more teams and input from as many people as we can.  If you have some ideas to help spread and grow fishing, especially multispecies fishing, please contact Doug at doug@ultimateanglerchallenge.com

Thanks to the following leagues for helping get the Mentor Duluth kids from the YMCA out fishing on Chub Lake.  Minnesota Multispecies Tournament Series, Duluth Area Bass League, Cloquet Area Fishing League, Duluth Area Fishing League, Ultimate Angler Challenge, Trollers Association, and Fishing Webmaster.  We even had an extra boat on this day.  That's awesome.

All the kids had a great time, life jackets, and we will shortly be sending them copies of the photos we took of the day.

Thanks for a great job.
